Day 2: Monday, September 23

After breakfast at the hotel, we set forth for Mackinac Island. Lunch will be on our own en route while traveling to the Shepler’s Ferry Landing. We’ll set sail on the ferry for a short 16-minute cruise to Mackinac Island. You may choose from the cushioned seats of the main lounge or experience a spectacular panoramic view of the Straits of Mackinac from the open-air top-deck seating area. After our breathtaking ferry ride, we will check-in at the stately and elegant Victorian-style hotel, the Lake View Inn, for three nights located on Main Street in downtown, just steps away from the Island’s best entertainment. Classic Victorian accents pair seamlessly with thoughtful, modern amenities that provide guests with a boutique hotel experience. The hotel’s two-level
front porch is the perfect place to relax and take in the beauty. Dinner will be at a local restaurant on the Island.

Day 3: Tuesday, September 24

We’ll start our day with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a narrated and guided horse drawn carriage ride, presenting the charm and history of the island. What we will experience is by far the most enjoyable and authentic way to view the island, including popular landmarks such as Arch Rock and the Avenue of Flags at Fort Mackinac. Next, enjoy the legendary Grand Luncheon Buffet at the luxurious Grand Hotel. It features garden fresh salads, savory cheese, slow-roasted meats, seafood, and a wide selection of fruits and fresh baked desserts made daily. Enjoy the rest of the evening on your own.

Day 4: Wednesday, September 25

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and a glorious day on your own exploring the majestic Mackinac Island.

Day 5: Thursday, September 26

Breakfast at the hotel, followed by checkout. Bid farewell to Mackinac Island, aboard the ferry for our return trip to Mackinaw City, and depart for Frankenmuth, MI. Enjoy a Famous Chicken Lunch at Zehnder’s Restaurant. This afternoon we will visit Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland. Be enchanted by the sites, sound, and spirit of Christmas that completely surrounds you at this whimsical store, which happens to be the size of one and a half football fields. This evening we will check back into Drury Inn & Suites – Findlay and have dinner at the hotel.

Day 6: Friday, September 27

Begin the day with breakfast at the hotel before departing for home filled with beautiful memories of awe-inspiring sunrises and the timeless charm of Mackinac Island…the Jewel of the Great Lakes.
